A new band has been revealed for the 2012 Heineken Jammin’ Festival, Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the first day of the live music event, on July 5th. The Californianrock band formed by singerAnthony Kiedis,Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass), Chad Smith (drums) and Josh Klinghoffer(guitar), is the second headliner, along with The Cure (July 7th) of the new edition of the Heineken Jammin’ Festival, which will take place from July 5th to 7th at Milano – Rho Fiera. 

Following their sold-out shows in Milan and Turin, Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the Heineken Jammin’ Festival ten years after their last performance on this very stage: they’ll be performing tracks from their last record I’m with you,along with the songs that have crowned them as one of the greatest bands in the world rock scene, a title that has just been confirmed by their induction into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Now in its fourteenth year, the 2012 Heineken Jammin’ Festival, organized byLive Nation and sponsored by Heineken Italia,will be one of the most important live music eventsfor all music lovers.

The legendary British bandformed by Robert Smith (voice & guitar), Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums) and Roger O’Donnell (keyboards) will be one of the main acts of the 2012 Heineken Jammin’ Festival, which will take place from 5 to 7 July at Fiera di Rho in Milano.

8 years after their last live performance at the Heineken Jammin’ Festival, The Cure will play songs from all 14 of their studio albums, including tracks from their epic “Wish” album, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2012.

The band led by Robert Smith, debuted in 1976 and to this day, over 40 years later, still represents a world icon for new wave and post punk music.

Italy’s number one rock festival is back. For the 2012 edition, which will take place from 5 to 7 July, the Heineken Jammin’ Festival will be host at Fiera di Rho in Milan.

This year at its fourteenth edition, the 2012 Heineken Jammin’ Festival will move to Milan. A new location but the same quality, for the only festival that has brought the best Italian and international music to Italy over the past thirteen years.

Roberto De Luca, managing director of Live Nation, stated: "The 4 editions at Parco San Giuliano have been memorable. We’ve created, along with the Mestre fans, some very special evenings.
